The Beginning
Santa in a Shoebox began in 2008 when Diana Higgenbottom Anagnostopoulos saw a need in her community and sprang into action. On her first year, Diana assembled and distributed 80 shoeboxes from the basement of her own home.
How we Spread Cheer
Santa in a Shoebox partners with Veterans organizations, schools, hospitals, shelters, youth groups, first responders and individuals to find those who need the most holiday cheer.

Today
Santa in a Shoebox stretches over three counties and four major cities in Southeast Wisconsin, distributing thousands of shoeboxes each year.
